What We Do
The Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo offers a home-away-from-home for families of hospitalized
children who 
are receiving medical care in Buffalo, NY. We help give families time with their sick child so that families can face the weight of illness together. In fact, research shows that a family presence in the hospital helps children cope better and heal faster.
Whether it’s a warm-cooked meal, transportation to-and-from the hospital, or just the comfort of being around the staff and volunteers, the families can count on us like they would extended family.
Many people don’t realize that in addition to operating the House, Ronald McDonald House Charities of Western New York offers community grants to not-for-profit organizations for programs to improve the health and well being of children in Western New York.
