Your home away from home
The Ronald McDonald House of Buffalo provides each family with a clean, comfortable, private bedroom equipped with linens, towels and a telephone. Families share bathrooms and common areas such as the kitchen, living room, family room and play room, and are expected to keep them clean as they would like to find them. The House is staffed 24 hours a day.
Guest responsibilities
While you’re staying with us, we ask that you treat our House as you would your own home. We ask that you be considerate of other guests, and keep the bathrooms, kitchen and other shared living areas neat and clean. We offer a laundry facility with supplies free of charge to our guests. Children must be supervised at all times. We are a non-smoking facility.
A place to play and relax
With festively colored walls and a gigantic selection of toys, our Fisher-Price ® Play Space play room gives kids a space to do what kids do best: play.
Our family room is located right next door to the children’s playroom and parents can watch their children while relaxing and reading or watching a movie.
A fully stocked kitchen
The House provides donated food items and a fully equipped kitchen that families may use to prepare their meals. Families can also enjoy meals and baked goods prepared by community volunteers. The cheerful and bright dining room provides a place for families to enjoy a home-cooked meal while visiting with other guests.
Van transportation
For your convenience, we offer daily, scheduled van transportation to and from your child’s hospital. If you drive to the House, we offer off-street parking.
There are other amenities that our guests may use including our computer room with internet access (the House has WIFI), exercise room, outdoor playground, patio and gardens and much more.
